I remember the first time Candy and I met. I was heavily pregnant with our second son David. Curly and my Roy worked together and had got a job to do in Colwyn Bay. It was arranged that we wives and kids should go with them so that we could have a day by the seaside. Our two sons Gary and Stephen (now 50'sh) were about 4. We were having a good day on the crowded beach when the two boys went missing. Pandemonium - and we were distraught with worry. Happily we found them soon after. From that day a very firm and close friendship developed which endured for so many many years.The span of time between 4 and 50 years is how long we have known each other. We may not have seen each other every day - we may have agreed to disagree but true friendship is forgiving and true friendship never dies. Sadly we only realise the true value of what we have lost when it's no longer there. Remembering you especially today xxxxxxx Pat
