Where have all the years gone? They've disappeared so fast In my mind there is a diary Filled with memories from our past When I recall a memory It's filled with happiness But also tinged with sadness These times have long since passed The true sadness that I feel now As I capture thoughts to mind Those times are locked in memory Are misted in past times When one looks back in hindsight We realise it is too late The certainty of life is No day can be replaced. Time is so so precious Do we realise this is true? We should savour every moment spent And do the best our whole life through.
